California To Extend Sanctions Against Wells Fargo

California State Treasurer John Chiang has announced that he will extend the sanctions he imposed one year ago barring Wells Fargo from doing state business negotiated through his office. At a press conference held on Monday (October 16) on the front steps of the San Francisco City Hall, Chiang said he would continue the ban for at least another year while citing the bank’s “lack of institutional greed” and “wanton greed”.
