Part superstar/part businesswoman, Beyonce just keeps breaking barriers in any industry she takes on. Last month, the 17-time Grammy award winning performer announced a partnership with British apparel brand Topshop to create a line of stylish sportswear. What’s more, Topshop’s deal with Beyonce is not only a collaboration, but a 50/50 partnership.
“I could not think of a better partner as I continue to grow the Parkwood business. I have always loved Topshop for its fashion credentials and forward thinking,” Beyoncé, who founded Parkwood Entertainment, said in a statement. “Working with its development team to create and produce a technical and fashion-led collection is exciting, and I’m looking forward to participating in all aspects of this partnership.”
