Los Angeles County public health officials reported 1,433 more cases of the coronavirus since over the weekend, bringing the total number of cases to 3,497,583 as of Tuesday, Nov. 8.
Officials reported eight more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Monday for a total of 34,023 deaths since tracking began.
There were eight fewer patients reported since Monday, bringing the total number of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 440.
According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 20,623,271 doses administered.
