Mike Tyson Set To Open A Luxury Marijuana Resort

With California’s legalization of retail marijuana, Snoop Dogg partnered with Jack in the Box for a test run of “munchies meals” and Whoopie Goldberg has launched a line of medical marijuana products aimed at relieving severe menstrual cramp.

And Mike Tyson knows a good deal when he sees one. The former heavyweight champ is opening a 40-acre marijuana resort in Southern California to produce high-quality strains of marijuana compounds.

Called Tyson Ranch, the land—located near Edwards AirForce Base and 60 miles southwest of Death Valley—will also be used to advance medical research and treatment of the plant through innovative technology.

The boxer broke ground on the ranch last month and while 20 acres will be used to grow marijuana, the other half will include a hydro-feed plant, supply store, extraction facility, edible factory, premium “glamping” campgrounds and cabins, and an amphitheater. Tyson is also planning a Tyson Cultivation School that will teach growers the art of using tech to perfect their own strains.
