Samuel L. Jackson Highest Paid Actor
Capital One’s “What’s in Your Wallet” slogan is one of the ad industry’s catchiest jingles, but it’s really what’s in the wallet of spokesman/actor Samuel L. Jackson that has been making the news lately.
Last month, the 65-year old actor topped the People With Money annual list of highest paid actors, racking in an estimated $58 million in earnings from May 2013 through May 2014, thanks mostly to his endorsement deals with companies like Capital One and Cover Girls Cosmetics.
Jackson, who has an estimated net worth of $185 million, also owns several Fatburger outlets, has his own brand of Vodka (Pure Wonderjackson) as well as perfume (With Love From Samuel L.) and his own fashion line (Samuel L. Jackson Seduction). And as if that wasn’t enough, there’s his real estate holdings and an ownership stake in the Washington D.C. Angels football team.
Now that’s what we call a diversified portfolio.
In 2011, the actor was named the sixth highest grossing actor of all time, having appeared in over 100 films during his career—from minor roles in “Kill Bill 2” and the “Iron Man” films, to headlining roles in “Pulp Fiction,” “Black Snake Moan” and “Snakes on a Plane.”— pulling in $2,895.90 billion.
