Finding Your Pretty With Dawn

As a personal trainer/nutritional consultant I find my job can be more than just helping my clients get into shape.  Changing their mind-set and building their self esteem is just as important.  Here are some keys to help your feel as good at you look.

Be confidence. Feeling pretty has more to do with how you present yourself and less to do with what you look like. Feeling pretty is about confidence, the confidence that exudes from the inside out.  Of course liking what you look like in the mirror can help feel pretty, but above all having confidence in who you are, what you have achieved, whether good or bad can help you feel pretty even on a bad hair day. Pretty starts with looking on the inside.

Positive Self-Talk.

What you say in your mind can determine a lot of how you feel about who you are. Positive conversations with yourself can affect your perspective.  The conversation you have in your head about your and the world around you have the power to shift how you feel in every situation. Feeling pretty starts with telling yourself you are pretty.

We don’t always consciously take note of what we’re saying in our minds. The first step in improving your self-talk is to actually notice what your inner voice is saying. Take some time each day to listen, and even write down, what you’re thinking.  The more you work on improving your self-talk the prettier you will feel.  Self-talk is a really important part of building self-esteem and confidence.  By working on being more positive you’re more likely feel, more pretty.

Go to the gym.

The merits of regular physical activity are hard to ignore.  From preventing chronic health conditions to promoting weight loss and better sleep the benefits of exercise are yours for the taking. Improved self-esteem is a key psychological benefit of regular physical activity.  When you exercise your body releases chemicals

called endorphins.  These endorphins trigger a positive mental attitude and feelings in the body similar to that of morphine, euphoria and general well-being.  Because no two bodies produce the same amount of endorphins, there is no way to tell exactly how much exercise you need to bring on a endorphin high.  To find your happy place, do a mood check every five minutes during your workout.  Think about how you feel on a scale from one to 10, with 10 being completely high on life, and increase your intensity until your number goes up. Because studies suggest that there is a direct link between exercise and happiness, exercise can give you the increased confidence you need to tape into your pretty on a daily bases.  Running, resistance training, dancing, swimming and hiking are exercises known to produce high levels of endorphins. GO FOR IT!
Make your face up.  For some its war paint and for others its light nude tone that simply enhance what they already have.  There is not wrong way to been beautifully.  Whatever it is for you do it and do it daily.  Make up has a way of helping you feel more beautiful and when you beautiful you look even better.
