At 30 years old, you would be considered a young preacher, how early were you called?

When I was 12 years old. I was a different kid. I come from a very strict religious family and I picked up religion early. I just had a yearning for the scriptures and I was already actively involved in my small church. My nickname was preacher boy. Everybody called me preacher boy. I wasn’t good in sports but I loved the bible and I loved the stories. So I knew that was my calling.

I grew up in a family of Sunday school teachers, superintendents, mission presidents…one of my cousins was a pastor here—
